Rappelling at Wayanad's Kanthanpara waterfalls
Kanthanpara is all set for an exciting experience for the adventure lovers who reach here to enjoy the waterfalls. With the support of a rope, people can drop to 40 feet in depth through the waterfalls by stepping over the slippery rocks of the waterfalls. It is for the first time that rappelling is being introduced in Kerala. The new project has been introduced by the District Tourism Promotion Council to promote adventure tourism in the state. In view of this, Bengaluru Adventure School conducted rappelling in Kanthanpara on an experimental basis.
